That means more time to unwind, sip, savor, and soak in those gorgeous mountain views. But here’s the important part: Experience wine & food pairing emersion! You’ll be staying Friday and Saturday at the winemakers house while we — Guess the $100 Bordeaux happy hour — enjoy Winemakers Dinner — do 2 wine classes — Vintners Table Learning Lunch, whatever class Carl is in the mood for + the Choco-Vino Challenge final exam! By the end of this Wine Retreat you will know how to get perfect wine + food pairings every time!

Please plan to arrive anytime well before 5pm on Friday for Guess the $100 Bordeaux Happy Hour, followed by Winemakers Dinner as we explore how to choose a wine for occasions and enjoy virtual journeys through famous wine regions with food pairings.

The Blue Ridge Wine Retreat happens at Little Washington Winery’s private winemakers house. You’ll be staying Friday and Saturday at the winemakers house while we — Guess the $100 Bordeaux happy hour — enjoy Winemakers Dinner — do 2 wine classes — + our impossible famous Choco-Vino Challenge!

Food is part of our wine classes and, of course, winemakers dinner. You will be on your own for breakfast and dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday. Please check out our list of local restaurants, bakeries and things to do while you’re in the neighborhood at discoverrappahannock.com

  1. Everything we do at the Blue Ridge wine retreat is very casual. Fancy clothing is never required while you are playing with us!

  2. A sleeping suite is included free with Wine Retreat.

  3. Discounts and Refunds are not accepted at all for our Wine Retreat experiential emersion learning weekend because we must purchase all of the catering for Wine Retreat in advance.

  4. We can fit 4 couples double occupancy or 4 singles single occupancy. Do it with Friends.
