We welcome you to celebrate your high end corporate events, wedding or corporate dinners surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains and the tranquil, gorgeous ambience of Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and Little Washington Winery.
We have the perfect scenario for exquisite private events here on Christmas Tree Lane with our gorgeous panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views, tasting rooms and the area's best B&B right up the mountain.
Corporate Retreats - Here you will find complete spy proof seclusion for your leadership team strategy planning and team building off-sites. We have large room meeting space and break out session spaces, space for destination receptions, special dinners and whatever else you may have in mind. We host overnight guests in our B&B and, with the highest concentration of B&Bs in America within 3 miles of us, we can coordinate with nearby B&Bs to overnight however many guests you have attending your event. Our on-site event planner will work with your event planner to produce your entire event.
Weddings - We are the ultimate DC wedding destination and can help you with the little details that make your day perfect.
Function policies ...
Facility Rental Fee - The basic space rental fee to reserve a private event at Little Washington Winery is $2000.00. This fee includes use of building facilities as they currently exist or bare space on grass. for a maximum of 4 hours. Tenting, seating furniture, alcohol,food, staff, changing room areas, spa services, reception services and wedding planning services are extra services that are not included in the rental of event space but can be provided on site for extra cost. A $700 deposit is required to book a certain date. The deposit will go towards the final payment.
Alcohol Purchases - No alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the property. By ABC law, all alcohol and drink purchases must be made through Little Washington Winery. Payment for wines ordered for a private event must be made in advance when the wine requested is ordered for the event.
Staff Requirements – The facility rental fee includes one person on our staff who will serve as the ABC manager for the event. Should you require additional staff assistance to support your private event we can hire staff for you at the rate of $30 per person per hour. Alternatively, you may choose to hire and bring additional staff you need for your event separately, but they will not have access to our kitchen/office area or be able to serve/handle alcohol.
Deposits and Space Confirmation - Dates are considered definite upon receipt of a non-refundable booking deposit, security deposit and signed contract. The booking deposit is $700. A cleaning, damage, security deposit of $500 is due 30 days before the event. The final balance, if any, and payment in full for wines ordered is due 14 days prior to your event. All deposits are non-refundable.
Damage Deposit - We reserve the right to inspect and control all private functions. The host of the event is held responsible for the members of their group. The host will be charged for any damages. Little Washington Winery will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceiling, with nails, tacks, staples, carpet tape or other materials.
Cleaning Options – You may clean up after your event if you would like or pay $400 cleaning fee to have our staff brought in to clean up for you. We require a cleaning deposit in advance, due 30 days prior to the event. The deposit is refundable subject to inspection of the event area after your event.
Guarantees and Cancellations - A final confirmation “guarantee” of your anticipated number of guests is required by 12:00 noon ten (10) working days prior to your event day and this guarantee may not be reduced. We will make an allowance to set 5% above your guarantee if requested. Cancellations must be made with our Special Events Office between 8:30AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Cancellations must be submitted and confirmed in writing 90 days before the event for a deposit refund.
Liability - We cannot assume responsibility for any personal items or equipment brought onto our property. All personal property and vendor equipment must be removed at the conclusion of the event.
Lost and Found - Little Washington Winery cannot be held responsible for damage to, or loss of, any articles left on the property prior to or following your event. We will make every effort to return found items to the owner.
Security - If, in the sole judgment of Little Washington Winery, additional security is required due to the size and nature of your event, we may require you to provide, at your expense, uniformed or nonuniformed security personnel. Any and all security must be arranged through Little Washington Winery. Little Washington Winery shall have final approval on any security personnel to be utilized during your function.
Parking - Ample complimentary parking is available. Valet Service can be arranged at your expense if requested. Little Washington Winery is not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles, or their contents..
